Life Cycle Accompaniment
“Being a rabbi means bringing Judaism into people’s lives – meaningfully – both inside and beyond the synagogue walls.”
I believe that the prioritisation of relationship is fundamental to strengthening Jewish communities and ensuring Jewish continuity. My rabbinate is committed to lowering or eliminating the barriers to inclusion, participation and a sense of belonging for those who seek out rabbis and Jewish communities. Officiating or participating in both Jewish AND interfaith weddings and the other life-cycle moments is a vital part of this ethos.
Whether we know each other or have not yet met – I care about you and your family. I want to stand with you, celebrate with you, and comfort you in your most significant moments. I enjoy working with couples to bring together Jewish and other traditions from a values-based approach, which will empower you to affirm your identity and those things which are most important to you in these significant moments. Whether you are planning a celebration, navigating an illness or loss, or looking for support thinking through the many day to day challenges that arise for interfaith couples and families, I would like to be here for you!
